Bata Initiative for Development Tukole (BID Tukole) was Founded by a group of resilient women and a supportive male ally in Uganda who turned their personal challenges into a force for change..
With expertise in community mobilization, early childhood practices, primary health care, girls’ education, and income generation, BID Tukole has grown into a vibrant network of 7 community groups with over 180 members.
We are committed to empowering women and girls, nurturing self-worth, independence, and the confidence to drive lasting social change.

To strengthen women’s ability to work, earn, and care for their families by promoting sustainable livelihoods, women’s social emotional wellbeing and child development through local practices.

- Enable women to secure stable income and financial independence through environmentally smart, locally appropriate income-generating activities.
